STOP Administrators Meeting: Closing Remarks – Reflections on the Impact of STOP

We know violence has lasting effects on an individual’s life trajectory and overall well-being, and we know the importance of funding services and training to support survivors in their most difficult moments. However, unless we work directly with survivors, we don’t often see the impact of our work on the lives of individuals in our State or Territory. In the final session of the 2022 STOP Administrators Meeting, Katherine Celardo, a licensed social worker in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, shares how STOP funding supports programming in her agency that meets the needs of survivors and trains professionals to improve experiences across systems.
